Pat has trained our family for many years… Despite the group setting, he attended to each of us individually…
He is a patient, hard driving trainer with an aptitude for training families in a comfortable, private setting.

Dear ….
Pat Marsh is the best trainer I have encountered in the United States…he has worked with members of the Baltimore Orioles…has given results to…my son…he is extremely conscientious…in my opinion, he would help your Grade I L4-5 spondylolisthesis.

" Entering my junior year of high school, I was looking for a way to take my golf game to the next level. I had been playing competitively for over 7 years, but I knew that if I was to compete at an even higher level I needed to add physical training to my regimen. From the early days, golf was seen as an nonathletic sport, but as the likes of Tiger Woods came on the scene in the mid 90's the game changed. The best players were now becoming stronger and better conditioned. To be the best, you needed to be not only technically and mentally strong, you needed to be physically strong. I began began working with Pat that fall and saw immediate results in my game. I not only became stronger and more confident with my game, but my stamina and mental toughness saw an increase as well. The next summer was one of the best of my career and eventually led to me being offered a scholarship to play at the University of Notre Dame. However, that is not where my training stopped. In addition to the two years that I worked with Pat before college, I continued to complement my college training sessions with Pat's routines during breaks and in the offseason throughout college. He even helped me rehab a back injury that I suffered during my sophomore year. All of the work before and during college eventually led me into the position that I hold now as Assistant Golf Coach at Notre Dame. Even though my time back home is less frequent, I still work with Pat when I am around as much as possible. I can definitely say with confidence that I would not be the athlete that I am today with out Pat's guidance. His routines have not only made me stronger, but have helped me coach and work with the trainers at ND to create the best routines possible for our Student Athletes. It has been 12 years since I started working with Pat and I look forward to continuing the relationship for years to come. "

" Pat has trained our family for many years... Despite the group setting, he attended to each of us individually... By training us for years, he faced with us the challenges of adolescence and young adulthood for our boys and midlife weight and injury challenges for my husband and me. He nurtured us through these times with compassion and "tough love"...Pat always remained encouraging, though he never hesitated to push us, sometimes beyond what we thought we could accomplish. Over the years, Pat has become a friend to all of us. When the boys are home on breaks from college, they always make time to see "Mr. Marsh" for a good workout and good fellowship. He is a patient, hard driving trainer with an aptitude for training families in a comfortable, private setting. "

" Pat: Thanks so much for all your time and work with Connor over the past few weeks. He is really enjoying the sessions and it's great to see the change in his arms, shoulders and legs. (He even has some muscle with his crazy elbow!) His confidence has improved so much, too! He's down to his final two weeks with you and hopefully he'll workout with you over Christmas Break prior to lax season starting. Again, thank you so much!!!! "

" At Harborview Sports Medicine, we see a wide variety of patients - from total joint replacements to some high level athletes referred to us from the Baltimore Ravens Team Surgeon. When they are finishing physical therapy and ready to transition to a personal trainer, I have always felt completely comfortable connecting them with Pat Marsh. His knowledge base is outstanding and his communication with the medical provider before, during, and after working with a client, is second to none! "
" I was referred to Pat by my physical therapist after being treated for injuries to my wrist and hip after repeated falls a few years ago. Not only was I in pain from the injuries, but I had lost confidence in my ability to safely move around outside of my home. Not only have I fully recovered from my injuries but along the way I lost several inches of unwanted bodyfat and I have muscles I didn't even know were there! Pat is incredibly patient and kind and yet he pushes me to work beyond my comfort zones and makes sure he's there to catch me if I go too far! The one on one attention that I receive at XCELFIT's private studio is exactly what I need and Pat even has a great assistant trainer, Joey, a very attentive Havanese puppy, to encourage me during my workouts!
